Kim saw the film JAWS when she was 5 years old. This sparked a lifelong obsession and fascination with these incredible animals.

Embarking on a career in filmmaking, for the past 15 years she has worked in narrative and extensively in social cause documentaries, as a director, DOP and screenwriter.

In 2017 she felt the pull from the depths of the ocean, and returned to her childhood passion, travelling to Port Lincoln to cage dive with the Great White Sharks.

Coming eye to eye with a Great White, was a profound experience that opened up a desire to explore the medium of underwater photography and cinematography.

She hopes to align her underwater work with ocean conservation and awareness.
